Cookie Policy

Our cookie policy and how we use them

Effective July 17, 2026

What this policy covers

This policy explains how Clippa uses cookies and similar browser storage on clippa.net. Cookies are small values a website can store in your browser and receive again with later requests.

Essential storage

Clippa uses essential cookies or local browser storage to keep you signed in, protect authentication flows, remember interface preferences such as theme or language, and maintain service security. The signed-in product cannot work correctly without some of this storage.

Analytics and advertising

Clippa does not set third-party analytics or advertising cookies. Clippa uses an HTTP-only first-party flow cookie that expires within 24 hours so it can connect limited events such as a landing source, completed preview, signup, saved result, export, or stated price response. Scripts cannot read this cookie, and the random identifier is not placed in page URLs. The associated event records exclude submitted YouTube URLs, video IDs, transcript text, email addresses, and raw query strings. After sign-in, completion events may also be linked to the account identifier. We do not use this cookie to sell personal information or build third-party advertising profiles.

Third-party destinations

Clippa can open YouTube and other third-party pages in a new tab. Those sites may set their own cookies under their own policies. Clippa does not control cookies set after you leave clippa.net.

Your controls

Most browsers let you view, block, or delete cookies and site data. Blocking essential storage may sign you out or prevent account features from working. Consult your browser's settings for the controls available on your device.

Changes and contact

We may update this policy as Clippa changes. The effective date above identifies the current version. Questions can be sent through the contact page.
